The regal taste of love. Wedding planning has officially kicked off for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, as well as the British Royal Family, and one of the decisions the dynamic duo will make—like The Knot couples—is selecting a wedding cake flavor and style.
According to The Telegraph, the two may have already narrowed their particular palette preference. A source close to the couple told the paper on Monday, December 4, that the confection itself will be comprised of bananas, the first royal wedding cake to be made from the fruit if that is the case.
The same source told the outlet that the prince loves “anything with banana,” which could be a subtle nod to Markle’s Instagram post from October 2016 of two bananas spooning.
