Meghan Markle and Prince Harry just completed a quick trip to New York City for Global Citizen Live, and apparently, they used Taylor Swift’s security team while in town!

The Daily Mail reports that Meghan and Harry were protected by Taylor’s bodyguards on their trip, including her head of security. As the outlet notes, it’s unclear if Tay “loaned Meghan and Harry her guards during their stay” or if the Sussexes just “happened to hire them from a company,” but if anyone’s looking for an excuse to daydream about the Sussexes potentially being friends with Taylor Swift, this is your moment.

Reminder: Meghan and Harry’s security has been an issue since they moved to America and the royals refused to continue paying for their protection. The couple opened up about the experience during their bombshell interview with Oprah, during which Meghan explained that Archie wasn’t going to be given security either—which is one of the reasons they wanted him to have a title.

As Meghan said, “They said [Archie’s not going to get security] because he’s not going to be a prince. Okay, well, he needs to be safe, so we’re not saying don’t make him a prince or princess, but if you’re saying the title is what’s going to affect that protection, we haven’t created this monster machine around us in terms of clickbait and tabloid fodder. You’ve allowed that to happen, which means our son needs to be safe.”

Meghan and Harry obviously ended up moving away from England and currently live in Los Angeles, where they lead much quieter lives and make public appearances on their own terms. Apparently, they’re also filming a documentary—cannot wait!
