Ahead of the Royal Wedding, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle--now the Duke and Duchess of Sussex--made clear they were forgoing traditional wedding gifts and instead asked their guests to donate to a slew of charities. But the Queen of England appears to be in a giving mood and reportedly granted the newlyweds the plush Adelaide Cottage in Windsor, because no one gives better gifts than Queen Elizabeth.

According to Daily Mail, the Adelaide Cottage is situated in the middle of Windsor, England, near St. George's Chapel at Windsor Castle, where the Duke and Duchess held their royal wedding. Kensington Palace declined to comment, but a source told the outlet that "the couple had been for a viewing, liked it and will move in soon."

The cottage was first built in 1831 and was reportedly home to Group Captain Peter Townsend, Princess Margaret's former love.

Adelaide Cottage is undoubtedly fit for royalty, as the main bedroom "boasts a coved ceiling with gilded dolphins and rope ornament from a 19th Century Royal yacht" and also features "a marble Graeco-Egyptian fireplace." A source added that Meghan and Harry's privacy won't be in jeopardy since the house comes equipped with "seven gated entrances and exits to Windsor Castle so the newlyweds could come and go without worrying about being photographed."

Prince Harry and Meghan's new cottage is close to where the Queen resides, which means more time for Meghan and Queen Elizabeth's relationship to blossom--as if they weren't best friends already.
