Get ready, Lifetime fans. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s love story is being revisited once again by the network in a new made-for-TV movie called Harry & Meghan: A Royal Romance, and a wedding is expected.

Those who watched the first installment of Harry & Meghan: Becoming Royal will find a key difference in the lead actors. Both Meghan and Harry have been replaced by a new set of actors: Tiffany Marie Smith as Markle and Charlie Field as the royal.

Smith’s acting credits include Jane the Virgin and Supernatural, while Field has appeared on Poldark and Genius.

The first Lifetime film starred Parisa Fitz-Henley and Murray Fraser as the Duke and the Duchess of Sussex. That particular film documented the high-profile pair’s initial meeting into their journey to love. The movie ended with a version of the couple’s engagement session in November 2017 at the Sunken Gardens in Kensington Palace.

Six months later, the pair married at Windsor Castle on a gorgeous spring day. The wedding has yet to be documented by Lifetime, so it’s anticipated that at least some portion of the 2018 Royal Wedding will be revealed in the upcoming film.

Storylines to also potentially be documented within the sequel include Markle’s transition into the British royal family, her estrangement from her direct family members (mainly her father), and the pregnancy announcement that fell into the couple’s first joint tour together through Australia, New Zealand and Tonga.

The new movie will debut in spring 2019 only on Lifetime.
