Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Just Gave Their First Joint Interview About Baby Sussex

Baby Sussex has finally made his global debut, and he is one cute kiddo. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry popped out of their newborn bubble over at Frogmore Cottage for some photos and a quick update on their new life as a family of three from St. George's Hall in Windsor Castle. (The spot is also where the duke and duchess had their wedding reception last May.)

Markle, in white sleeveless Givenchy, said of being a new mom, "It’s magic. It’s pretty amazing. I have the best two guys in the world, so I’m really happy." She went on to say that the baby (no name is public yet!) "has the sweetest temperament. He’s really calm.” Harry joked, "I don't know where he gets that from!"

“He’s just been a dream,” Markle continued. “It’s been a special couple of days.”

Harry, who has long made it known that he was excited to start a family of his own, is all in on his new job. "It’s been great. Parenting is amazing," he said. "It has only been, what, two and a half, three days…. We are just so thrilled to have our own bundle of joy and to be able to spend some precious time as he slowly starts to grow up." He said the baby is changing fast, so it is hard to tell who he looks like most.

The royals were super sweet with their little one, just like any new parents, with the Duchess of Sussex gently rubbing his head while Prince Harry held his son.

The couple also posted images taken by their wedding photographer, Chris Allerton, on Instagram. "Today The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are delighted to share their first public moment as a family," the caption reads. "They are so incredibly grateful for the warm wishes and support they’ve received from everyone around the world, since welcoming their son two days ago."

Next up for the newest member of the family? Meeting his great-grandparents Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. "We just bumped into the duke [Philip] as we were walking by, it was just so nice,” says Meghan. “It will be a nice moment to introduce the baby to the whole family.”

Now the wait continues for his name. Perhaps once the queen knows, we'll find out too.
