Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Confirm Archie Is a Ginger (!!)
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle shared some crucial updates about their five-month-old son Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor during their appearance at the WellChild Awards today. First of all, he's going to play groups now. Second of all, yes, the rumors and speculation are true: HE HAS RED HAIR, just like his dad! A ginger prince had a ginger son.
The Duke and Duchess revealed the news to 11-year-old Milly Sutherland and her mother Angela, according to Hello!. Milly and Angela asked the big question: is Archie a redhead? The answer was yes. "Meghan said he has, and Harry said he definitely is, you can see it in his eyebrows. Harry said he’d had no hair for five months, but Meghan told him she had taken him to the playgroup and she said there were other children there with the same amount of hair or even less."
Meghan told Angela more about Archie's big play date. "She took him to one of these baby classes today, and she said they had loads of fun together," Angela said Meghan told her. "She said it was really good fun."
Archie made his last public appearance earlier this month on his mom and dad's tour of southern Africa. He spent the tour with Meghan in South Africa. Royal reporter Omid Scobie revealed on his podcast The Heir Pod that the parents made sure Archie felt very comfortable on his trip abroad. “Of course they brought all of the home comforts with him," Scobie said. "I heard that there were a lot of toys there that they’d brought from home and all the things that make him feel probably like he hasn’t gone anywhere. You want to keep him comfortable the whole time, that’s why Meghan stayed with him in South Africa rather than joining Harry on his own travels.”
