Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are back in the spotlight!
The Sussexes kicked off 2020 by resuming royal duties after spending a couple months on vacation.
The New Year is seven days old, and we already have a slew of bad news making headlines. But the one bright spot sticking out among the rest is that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are already back in the spotlight after two months away, and all I can say to that is YAY!
The Sussex fam spent the holidays far away from the rest of the royal family, and while Prince William and Kate Middleton joined in Queen Elizabeth's festivities with Prince George and Princess Charlotte, Meghan and Harry took Archie to Canada and blessed us with this picture:
Today though, they visited Canada House in London as a grand way to say "thank you Canada for giving us a chill, photographer-free Christmas this year."
Check out the pics of them walking in:
They're smiling! She's glowing! This is great!
Harry and Meghan spent part of their break in Canada, so it makes a lot of sense that the first thing they're doing while back on duty is paying homage to the country. On New Year's Eve, they were on Vancouver Island in a $13 million (!) mansion that had two beaches, which truly takes R&R to a whole other wild level.
The last time we saw Meghan and Harry in public together was back in early November for the Royal British Legion Festival of Remembrance (say that four times fast) at Royal Albert Hall, which was a much more somber affair.
What a royal start to the year, amirite?
