In October, Meghan and Harry announced they were pregnant with their first child, just a few months after their lavish royal wedding. By that time, Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, was at least 12 weeks pregnant.

At the time, Kensington Palace shared in a social media post, “Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019.” It added, “Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public.”

Fans were able to closely follow Meghan’s entire pregnancy as she stayed highly active with her royal duties for the last several months. In fact, when her pregnancy announcement was made, Meghan and Harry had already begun their fall tour of Australia, New Zealand, and the Fijian Islands.
Now, all that’s left to learn is the baby’s name. In October, the private bookmakers Fitzdare said they favored the name Alexander for a boy with 2/1 odds, and Alice for a girl at 5/2. The Duke and Duchess will likely share the name they've chosen in the coming days.
The Duchess’s mother, Doria Ragland, who is overjoyed by the arrival of her first grandchild, is with Their Royal Highnesses at Frogmore Cottage.

The royal family shared that Meghan Markle's mother, Doria Ragland, is with the new parents at Frogmore Cottage.
Meghan and Harry's new son automatically becomes a lord at birth. He will have the last name Mountbatten-Windsor.
However, Queen Elizabeth could also step in and gift the child with a title of prince for his birthday.
But, even without a title, this bouncing baby boy will certainly be living a charmed life. Congratulations to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Now, go get some sleep before reality sets in.
