Meghan Markle Is Pretty In A Pink Suit On A Date Night With Prince Harry

Apparently, not even celebrities are safe from kiss cams—Meghan Markle (who recently won a defamation lawsuit against her sister!) and Prince Harry were recently spotted on a cozy date at a Los Angeles Lakers basketball game. Luckily, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex looked more than prepared for the jumbotron, even if they did leave their jerseys at home. While Harry donned a white tee and a black blazer, Meghan chose to wear a bright pink short suit set.

Meghan Markle Dons A Pink Short Suit For A Date With Prince Harry

Although she won’t be making her way to England on May 6 for the coronation, Meghan is still keeping it chill in her hometown of Los Angeles. She sported a salmon-colored two-piece linen set from Staud which features an oversized blazer and slouchy belted high-waisted shorts.

The stylish actress paired the short suit with a plain white tank top and nude heels during the outing. She accessorized with a matching nude handbag, an assortment of gold bracelets, her favorite Cartier watch, and unadorned gold drop earrings. Meghan styled her brunette hair down in a middle part with loose, soft curls that fell down her back. Harry coordinated with his wife in a simple white tee and dark blazer. He paired the ensemble with jeans and sneakers.

At one point during the game, the couple appeared on the jumbotron. Meghan beamed in the clip and Harry leaned in for a smooch as the audience cheered. It seemed Meghan couldn’t stop laughing. She grabbed her husband’s arm instead of succumbing to the crowd’s urge for PDA. Harry then made a comical grimace at the camera. The NBA Instagram account shared the moment on social media with the caption, “Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in LA! #NBACelebRow.”

And, the royal couple weren’t the only celebrities in the crowd that night—Adam Sandler, Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs, and Kim Kardashian and her son 7-year-old son Saint West were in attendance. The Kardashians sat courtside to support Khloé Kardashian’s cheating ex, Tristan Thompson, who was recently signed to the Lakers.

Their date night was the first time that Prince Harry and Meghan were seen in public together since it was announced that the Duchess would not be attending King Charles III’s coronation. Instead, Meghan will stay home in California with their two children. Prince Archie is turning 4 on coronation day.

While Meghan Markle, who notoriously is absent on social media, did not post her look on Instagram, there were multiple fan accounts that were obsessed with the look. Fans filled the comments with praise. “Love how she pulls off the shorts and blazer combos!” one commenter wrote, “She is sooo beautiful,” another fan commented. Other commenters were critical of her look, pointing out that they didn’t think it was the right look for a basketball game. “Heels to a basketball game? Love the suit though,” a fan commented while another critiqued, “Nice outfit but not really for a basketball match.”

And, while some commenters made nasty comments about the wrinkles on her outfit, others came to Meghan’s defense. One fan commented, “She looks great in pink. And for those complaining, it’s linen. It wrinkles very easily when you sit down. Or cross your legs. Or breathe. Chill.”
