Meghan Markle Is Pregnant! The Duchess Is Expecting Her First Child with Prince Harry
There's going to be another baby crawling around Kensington Palace shortly, because Meghan Markle is pregnant and expecting her first child with Prince Harry!
The couple announced the happy news with a post from Kensington Palace early Monday morning, right after landing in Australia for their first lengthy royal tour abroad.
"Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are very pleased to announce that The Duchess of Sussex is expecting a baby in the Spring of 2019," the statement from Kensington Palace read. "Their Royal Highnesses have appreciated all of the support they have received from people around the world since their wedding in May and are delighted to be able to share this happy news with the public."
Their baby will be seventh in line to the British throne, and will have some über cute cousins in Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis. While the news is certainly exciting, it isn't a total surprise. Meghan and Harry have been hinting for awhile now that children are in the cards for them.

Sources said even in the months preceding their royal wedding that Harry was particularly keen on starting a family ASAP. During their engagement interview last November, he spoke to that desire.
"Hopefully we’ll start a family in the near future,” he said.
Turns out, having Prince William and Kate Middleton's brood around helped seal the deal.
"I think that moment [for Harry] really kicked in when his brother, Prince William, of course, settled down with Kate Middleton," Harry: Life, Loss, and Love Katie Nicholl said to Entertainment Tonight. "That has definitely gotten Prince Harry pretty broody."

"The reason he wanted Meghan to meet Prince George and Princess Charlotte was so she could see that—this would be hopefully replicated by them, that they would go on to have children," she said. "That you marry into the royal family, but that doesn't mean you can't have a regular family with cute children, and here are George and Charlotte to show that that can happen. That was really important to him."
Their wishes are coming true! Looks like Prince Louis will have another young playmate in no time.
