Meghan Markle Played Basketball in High Heels
Meghan Markle has defied all royal conventions with her wardrobe thus far. She’s worn pants when many would have chosen a dress, gone off-the-shoulder at times many believe she’d should have been more covered, and now, proven her true athletic skill by playing basketball in heels. Yes, that’s right: while we still marvel at Sarah Jessica Parker’s insane ability to run through the uneven streets of Manhattan in 4-inch Manolo Blahniks, Meghan Markle is out there on the basketball court doing the same...while dribbling a basketball.
The Duke And Duchess Of Sussex Attend The Coach Core Awards
Meghan was at Loughborough University for an appearance with Prince Harry for the Coach Core Awards but, instead of sitting around and watching the kids practice, Meghan got in on the action. There are videos all over Twitter showing Meghan’s part in the circular passing drill the students were participating in. And following came, of course, a flurry of fan comments sharing in our amazement that the Duchess of Sussex was able to manage it all without batting a gorgeous eyelash. But then again, of course she was.
With her heels, she chose a navy blue peplum top and slim ankle-crop trousers. Which, while the heels made the basketball playing all the more impressive, we’re glad she at least chose pants over a dress for this particular athletic event.
