Meghan Markle Made a Smash Cake for Archie's First Birthday

We're finally getting some details about baby Archie's first birthday party.

While Meghan Markle and Prince Harry shared a sweet video of him for the occasion, sources tell People that the day was full of celebration. According to a friend, Markle baked her son a strawberry and cream smash cake (the exact type of cake we all wish we had right now).

"Meghan made the cake — strawberries and cream," the source told them, adding that Harry helped by blowing up balloons.

As suspected, the source also said that the family was able to see friends and family. "They Zoomed with godparents, friends and family and had a really simple but incredibly joyous day."

Earlier this year, the family moved to Los Angeles, where Markle's mother Doria Ragland currently resides. They are reportedly staying at Tyler Perry's home for now.

Now we just need Meghan to drop the smash cake recipe so we too, can take our feelings out on dessert.
