Meghan Markle got to showcase another radiant evening gown at her gala appearance tonight with Prince Harry. The Duchess of Sussex just arrived with her husband at The Wider Earth's charity performance in London. Meghan wore a winter white Calvin Klein dress with a matching Amanda Wakeley coat while Harry was in a sharp suit beside her.
The Wider Earth gala will support the Queen's Commonwealth Trust and its charitable partner the Queen's Commonwealth Canopy, which focuses on forest conservation. It marks the second philanthropic theater event this year that the couple has gone to. Meghan and Harry last went to Cirque du Soleil's Totem premiere in mid-January. That performance supported Sentebale's work with children and young people affected by HIV. Harry is patron of that organization. Tonight, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are representing the Queen.
For the Totem premiere, Meghan wore a sequined Roland Mouret gown with a Givenchy clutch and one of Princess Diana's bracelets. She had her hair up:
Meghan and Harry's evening event comes two days after Prince William and Kate Middleton had their own red carpet outing at the 2019 BAFTA Awards. There, Kate wore a gorgeous one-shoulder Alexander McQueen gown:
The Duchess of Cambridge will have her own gala tomorrow, too. Kate will be attending the 100 Women in Finance’s Gala Dinner at the V&A Museum that will support Heads' Together's Mentally Healthy Schools program.
Meghan and Harry's last event together was their day visit to Bristol. The two attended several engagements in the snow. Meghan wore a black William Vintage coat, Oscar de la Renta dress (with a unicorn on it), and olive green Sarah Flint boots for that outing:
