Meghan Markle Looked Lovely in Navy Blue for Christmas Day Church Services
Honoring a decades-old tradition, Meghan Markle joined Prince Harry and his family for Christmas Day church services in Sandringham this morning. The Duchess marked her first official holiday as a royal by walking to St. Mary Magdelene Church in Sandringham along with the Cambridges, Queen Elizabeth, and Harry's many relatives.
For the festive outing, the Duchess of Sussex chose a navy blue coat over a matching dress paired with boots, gloves (which she carried), and a hat embellished with two feathers.
Meghan chose to wear her hair up today, and added a little sparkle to her look with small stud earrings earrings.
It's a markedly different outfit from Meghan's choice last year, when she wore a camel-colored wrap coat with a darker brown hat and boots.
But of course, this year she's dressing her bump. Meghan and Prince Harry are expecting their first child together sometime in the spring of next year. While Kensington Palace has yet to release a specific due date, royal reporters are predicting the baby could come as early as late March.
Following church, Meghan and Harry will return home to the Sandringham house with the rest of the Windsor crew for a turkey lunch in the Red Drawing room. Later in the day at 3 p.m., the whole group will reportedly gather around the television to watch the Queen's annual Christmas message. One thing that will be missing from Meghan's first royal Christmas Day? Opening presents. That will have happened on Christmas Eve, in a nod to the Windsor's German heritage.
