Her latest look, worn during the Invictus Games wheelchair basketball final in Sydney today, made the case for the revival of the peplum top, a gently voluminously silhouette that gained prominence in the mid-to-late 2000s. For her appearance at the games, Markle wore a burgundy peplum wrap top by the Australian brand Scanlan Theodore, of several local labels she has worn on her trip. She styled it with black skinny jeans by Outland (it appears the fancy-top-and-jeans trend is a combo that’s here to stay, even with royals) and finished it off with simple pointed black pumps by Sarah Flint.
