Meghan Markle’s LA facialist Kate Somerville is set to launch her range in the UK
The LA-based facialist Kate Somerville is one of the world’s most renowned estheticians, best known for her genuine Hollywood glow-creating credentials. She has a celebrity client list that includes half of Hollywood - including Royal bride-to-be Meghan Markle. The actress told the US blog beautybanter.com that she uses a moisturiser by Somerville, whose clinic she was a regular client at when she lived in LA. At the time of the interview, Markle was based in Toronto filming Suits. “Now that I live in Toronto for work," she said at the time, "I still use the products to maintain that glow that her products give. 'Quench' is my favourite moisturiser.”
Kate has built a multi-million dollar skincare business based on the same ingredients and techniques she uses at her famous medi-clinic on Melrose Place in Los Angeles, meaning you can get the Hollywood effect in one pot of cream. Up until now, hardcore Somerville fans from the UK (of which there are many) would have to buy the products from America or plead with friends to bring some over. Thankfully this month the brand launches in the UK.
