Meghan Markle just shared never-before-seen photos of her pregnancy with Baby Archie

Keeping up with the royals on Instagram is so much fun. Even though we’re lucky enough to see them at public events and royal engagements, we love getting little glimpses into their behind-the-scenes lives. On the official Sussex Royal Instagram page, Meghan Markle just shared some never-before-seen pictures taken during her pregnancy with Baby Archie.

The new pictures are all in celebration of her Markle’s upcoming fashion collection, which will benefit one of her royal patronages, Smart Works, an organization that helps women reenter the workforce. SmartWorks provides women with skills and tools—as well as new work clothes—to help them feel their most confident and prepared.

The Duchess of Sussex announced her capsule collection in the digital edition of September’s British Vogue, which she guest-edited. While we’ll have to wait until later in the year to shop the line, these new never-before-seen photos from her visits to Smart Works during her pregnancy are warming our hearts.

Ahead of the issue’s August 2nd release, the new mama shared a series of photos and a little more info about her work over the past year with Smart Works, revealing that she was “moved by the impactful work being done by this non-profit organization that helps women into the workforce, equipping them with both the skills and clothes they need to feel job-ready.”

Spotlight on: Smart Works We are proud to be supporting a very special initiative this autumn for @SmartWorksCharity! After quiet visits to Smartworks over the last year, The Duchess was moved by the impactful work being done by this non profit organisation that helps women into the workforce, equipping them with both the skills and clothes they need to feel job-ready. Throughout her visits she noticed that while the donations were plentiful, they were also notably a combination of mismatched items and colours which weren’t always the right stylistic choices or sizes that didn’t necessarily “suit” the job at hand: to make a woman feel confident and inspired as she walked into her job interview. As a result, launching this autumn, The Duchess will be supporting a collective to help equip the women of Smart Works with the key workwear essentials they need as they enter into the workplace. This initiative is supported by four generous brands who share the vision to empower the women of Smart Works to look and feel 💯 as they bravely venture in to what can often be a daunting environment for those who have been out of the job market. The brands have come together to work towards this united force for good, “[reframing] the idea of charity as community,” as The Duchess writes in a piece for this month’s British Vogue. They will follow the 1:1 model where an item from the collection purchased is an item shared with a woman of Smart Works because “not only does this allow us to be part of each other’s story; it reminds us we are in it together.” For more information on how you can be part of another woman’s success story visit @smartworkscharity. Special thanks to: @JohnLewisandPartners, @MarksandSpencer, @MishaNonoo, @InsideJigsaw for supporting this very special organisation. In the photos, Markle can be seen perusing the clothes and meeting with women at the organization—and of course, she looks chic as ever, with her bump on full display.

In her caption, she noted that during her visits to Smart Works, she noticed that donated clothes were a bit mismatched or “weren’t always the right stylistic choices or sizes that didn’t necessarily ‘suit’ the job at hand: to make a woman feel confident and inspired as she walked into her job interview.”

This inspired her to spearhead the forthcoming capsule collection, which will “help equip the women of Smart Works with the key workwear essentials they need as they enter into the workplace.” She hopes that the new clothes will empower women “as they bravely venture in to what can often be a daunting environment for those who have been out of the job market,” she wrote in her caption.

Markle’s collection will work on a 1:1 model, so each purchase will come with a donation to a woman at Smart Works because “not only does this allow us to be part of each other’s story; it reminds us we are in it together,” she says.

As if we needed another reason to get our hands on this collection. Our closets are so ready for this, and we’re so happy to see more photos of the hardworking mama.
