Meghan Markle's royal style has just swiftly led her to make history, less than eight months after she and Prince Harry announced their engagement. Meghan has just been announced a nominee for the Teen Choice Award for Choice Style Icon. This is the first time a royal has ever been considered for an award for the U.S. show that started in 1999. If Meghan wins, it would be the first time a royal has snagged the award, and it'd be fascinating to see if she'd actually attend or send one of those video acceptance speeches from her palace.

For the award, Meghan is up against stylish celebs like Blake Lively, Chadwick Boseman, Harry Styles, Migos and Zendaya. Unlike other award shows, the Teen Choice Awards are open to voting by the public. You can vote for Meghan or any of the other nominees here.

This is Meghan's first award nomination since becoming a royal, but this isn't the only award for which she's in consideration. Meghan was submitted for the Emmys' Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category by USA Network for her work as Rachel Zane on Suits, a network rep confirmed to Entertainment Tonight earlier this month. Meghan doesn't have the Emmy nomination yet though; those will be announced on July 12.
