Meghan Markle Just Hit the Red Carpet in a Sequined Halter Look
Meghan Markle is all glammed up for her first appearance at the Royal Variety Performance with Prince Harry. The Duchess of Sussex stepped out for the charity show, taking place at London's Palladium Theatre, wearing a black halter look by Safiyaa. The number features a sequined top with white floral prints and a black floor-length skirt.

The show-which features performances by musicians, comedians, and more-is held to fundraise for the Royal Variety Charity, of which Queen Elizabeth II is a patron. This year's performers include Andrea Boccelli and his son Matteo, Clean Bandit, George Ezra, Take That, and the West End casts of Hamilton and Tina: The Tina Turner Musical, according to a press release.
Last year, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge represented the royal family at the event. Kate made a glamorous appearance in an ice blue Jenny Packham dress covered in metallic sequins and floral appliqués.
This is the latest of Markle's formal appearances, following a number of engagements last week. Her latest was a dinner for the Royal Foundation, which she attended with Prince Harry, Prince William, and Kate Middleton. For the private fête, she wore a strapless black dress, reportedly by Roland Mouret, with a notch neckline.

Before that, she joined other members of the royal family for Prince Charles' 70th birthday party at Buckingham Palace. Because the festivities were private, no photos have been released from the celebration, but paparazzi pictures from outside the venue show the Sussexes' arrival, including Meghan wearing a stunning pair of dangling earrings for the occasion. Royal fans are still wondering what she wore to the event.
