Meghan Markle Just Debuted 2 New Gold Rings—and the Designer Was Very Carefully Selected

Meghan Markle just added two new rings to her jewelry collection, and of course, the designer holds a special place in the royal’s heart.

Last week, the Duchess of Sussex, 38, attended a meeting at Windsor Castle with her husband, Prince Harry. The Suits alum accessorized her all-red look with two gold rings on her right hand, both of which were designed by Vargas Goteo.

Vargas Goteo is a contemporary jewelry company based in Canada that specializes in sustainability. The designs are not only inspired by endangered wildlife, but they also give back to a variety of charities.

Markle wore the Manta Kiss Stack Ring, which benefits the Manta Trust (a charity that assists with global conservation efforts). The accessory comes in three types of gold—yellow, rose and white—and retails for $600.

The duchess simultaneously donned the High Seas Bow Knot Ring in gold vermeil (it also comes in sterling silver and rose gold vermeil). The ring costs $150 to $180, depending on your selection.

Alex Prijic Smith, the founder of Vargas Goteo, recently caught wind of Markle’s look and admitted that she had no idea the duchess was a fan of their designs.

“To see my work out there and on such a remarkable woman really is a dream come true,” Smith told People magazine. “Meghan always exudes ease and elegance, refinement and a freshness in everything she steps out in—I loved what she wore!”
