Meghan Markle On Her Favorite Celeb Wedding Dress
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are finally, officially ENGAGED, which means there's a royal wedding to come in spring 2018 and another royal wedding dress to look out for.
But it turns out Markle already gave some hints as to what that dress might look like during a 2016 interview with Glamour. Then, Markle's Suits character Rachel Zane was set to wear a gorgeous wedding gown for the show, but Markle told Glamour the gown wasn't her "personal style because I'm a lot more relaxed than Rachel."
She then went on to describe her perfect wedding dress:
"I have the luxury of wearing beautiful pieces of clothing every day for work, so my personal style - wedding or not - is very pared down and relaxed. Classic and simple is the name of the game, perhaps with a modern twist. I personally prefer wedding dresses that are whimsical or subtly romantic. Delphine Manivet and Christos Costarellos are faves of mine for their uniqueness and beauty. And I will always be a fan of Ellie Saab. J. Mendel is spectacular as well, especially for more structural designs."
The actress also told the magazine that her favorite celebrity wedding dress of all time was Carolyn Bessette Kennedy's gown when she married John F. Kennedy Jr. in 1996.
