Meghan Markle’s Half-Brother Calls Her ”Shallow” in ’Big Brother VIP’ Trailer

Today in Meghan Markle’s extended family being just...ugh, her half-brother Thomas Markle Jr. has (a) joined the cast of Australia’s Big Brother VIP, and (b) called Meghan shallow in the trailer. Which, the literal audacity.

Thomas Jr. is the first celebrity (sorry, “celebrity”) introduced in the trailer, and he immediately drops Meghan’s name, saying, “I’m Meghan Markle’s brother. I’m the biggest brother of them all.” Oh, and then he goes on to claim that he told Meghan’s husband Prince Harry, “I think she’s going to ruin your life. She’s very shallow.”

Since there’s almost no way Thomas Jr. has ever been in the same room as Prince Harry, let’s go ahead and assume he’s talking about a letter he wrote to the prince in 2018, which was published by InTouch. According to Us Weekly, Thomas Jr. called his sister a “jaded, shallow, conceited woman that will make a joke of you and the royal family heritage” in the letter, which...what the actual hell.

FYI, this same year, Thomas Jr. complained to the Daily Mail, saying, “It’s not the Meghan I remember. The Meg I remember was very caring and she cared about everybody—that was important to her. Since Hollywood and being on that show—being a celebrity has changed her. Maybe she feels she is above everybody, maybe even more now. If she wasn’t with Prince Harry right now—even if she was still on Suits right now—she would have stopped what she was doing to go and visit [our father Thomas Markle Sr.] and make sure he’s okay.”

Um. Kay. Or maybe she’s just minding her business while her dad’s side of the family continues to somehow do both the most and the least!
