Meghan Markle Was Guest at Staff Holiday Party
Meghan Markle, who's officially spending her first Christmas with Prince Harry and the royal family in England, is back in the country and charming everyone at the castle, according to a report from The Daily Mail's royal correspondent Rebecca English. Queen Elizabeth II had her annual staff holiday party at Windsor Castle on Monday, where Markle ended up being a charming surprise guest.

"One person who met her told me that she was 'charm personified'," English wrote in a tweet. Per English's source, "She held out her hand & said 'Hi, I'm Meghan.' She was unbelievably beautiful and Harry looked so proud."
English also added that everyone seemed to be "blown away by her elegance and confidence":
Yes it was definitely a surprise to all those attended. And those that did meet her were absolutely blown away by her elegance and confidence. She's gone down well with the staff, that's for certain!

Yes, although I don't think I it was a gesture per se. I get the impression that Harry was keen to introduce her. I can imagine it will also help her get used to the 'Royal' way of doing things...
