Meghan Markle Dazzles in Purple at Latest Outing, but Leaves Prince Harry at Home

Meghan Markle just stepped out solo in a head-turning ensemble, and it appears she’s taking a page out of Queen Elizabeth’s brightly colored wardrobe.

Today, the Duchess of Sussex, 38, stopped by the Royal Albert Hall in London for the opening ceremony of the One Young World Summit, a global forum for young leaders. Markle wore a purple midi dress by Aritzia, and we’re totally digging the simplicity.

The dress features a high neck, long sleeves and a flattering waistline. Markle accessorized the look with navy blue pumps by Manolo Blahnik and a fresh blowout (natch).

The suede shoes come in five different colors—navy, cobalt, mustard, pan green and cheetah—and retail for between $625 and $695, depending on your selection.

The One Young World summit brings together 2,000 young individuals from all over the world. The goal is to create positive change, all while raising awareness about the world’s biggest problems.

This is the third time that Markle has attended the global forum. Her involvement should come as no surprise, since she previously served as a counselor for One Young World in 2014 and 2016. She’s also the vice president of The Queen’s Commonwealth Trust, which is a partner of the annual event.

We suddenly feel an urge to wear purple.
