From Town & Country

The woman formerly known as Meghan Markle is one busy Duchess. After attending yesterday's christening for her newborn nephew Prince Louis, the Duchess of Sussex is appearing at a number of events today in honor of the Royal Air Force's 100th anniversary.

Per royal reporter Omid Scobie, Meghan will join Prince Harry, the Queen, and several other members of the royal family at a service at Westminster Abbey, on the Buckingham Palace balcony for a flyover, and a reception with servicemen and women.

For the day of celebrations, Meghan is wearing a black dress with a bateau neckline, which is reportedly by Dior. She paired the fit and flare design with a hat by Stephen Jones, Cartier earrings, and nude pumps.

The whole look was very reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn.

The dark dress was a marked difference from the off-the-shoulder blush number by Carolina Herrera that Meghan chose for her balcony debut at this year's Trooping the Colour. Despite an outcry on social media suggesting that she was breaking some unwritten fashion rule, her bare shoulders were not a break in royal protocol.

After today's full schedule, Meghan and Harry head to Dublin for a two-day official visit. While there, they will attend a Gaelic sports festival, and visit Trinity College to see the Book of Kells, and pay tribute to those who died at the Famine Memorial. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will also meet with government leaders while in the country.
