Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have just begun their second joint engagement of the year, arriving in snowy Bristol this afternoon for a day of events. For this appearance, Meghan strayed away from the monochrome ensembles she had worn the past two days during her other engagements. The Duchess of Sussex chose a black William Vintage coat, Oscar de la Renta dress, and olive green Sarah Flint boots, while Prince Harry wore a grey suit alongside her.

As Kensington Palace tweeted ahead of the couple's Bristol visit, the two are to "meet members of the public, learn more about the city’s rich cultural history, and visit organizations supporting communities most in need." Because of the cold temperatures, snow, and slippery conditions there, royal reporters announced ahead of their arrival that their outdoor walkabout where they'll talk to members of the public will be more limited. Meghan was filmed telling well-wishers to stay warm while talking to them in the snow:

Both Harry and Meghan have done other events this week. Harry attended a Commonwealth Youth Roundtable discussion at Lancaster House on Wednesday, where he made a speech to youth delegates. In it, he touched on his feelings about impending fatherhood. "As someone who is about to become a father, I am acutely aware of our shared responsibility to make this world more resilient and its inhabitants more accountable for the next generation," he told the group. "The only way to see real progress is not by chance, it’s by change. Let's get to work."

Meghan, meanwhile, has visited the final two of her four newly-announced patronages Wednesday and Thursday. On Wednesday, the Duchess of Sussex went to the National Theatre, where she met apprentices and watched a line run from Shakespeare’s Pericles among other things. She wore a monochrome nude outfit to that event, choosing a Brandon Maxwell blazer and dress.

Yesterday, Meghan wore an all black Givenchy outfit to the City, University of London where she did her first visit with the Association of Commonwealth Universities. There, she met students and academics from across the ACU’s network of 500 university members.
