The Duchess of Sussex has many achievements on her résumé—philanthropist, actress, mother—and now she has added another. Meghan announced today that she has authored a children’s book called The Bench that will be published on June 8. According to the publisher, the book is about “the special bond between father and son, as seen through a mother’s eyes, and is inspired by her own husband Prince Harry and son Archie.”

“The Duchess of Sussex’s debut touchingly captures the evolving and expanding relationship between fathers and sons and reminds us of the many ways that love can take shape and be expressed in a modern family,” Penguin Random House said in a statement. The book is illustrated by artist Christian Robinson and will be published in the US, Canada, the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, India, and South Africa.

The Bench started as a poem I wrote for my husband on Father’s Day, the month after Archie was born,” Meghan said in a statement. “That poem became this story. Christian layered in beautiful and ethereal watercolor illustrations that capture the warmth, joy, and comfort of the relationship between fathers and sons from all walks of life; this representation was particularly important to me, and Christian and I worked closely to depict this special bond through an inclusive lens. My hope is that The Bench resonates with every family, no matter the makeup, as much as it does with mine.”

The Duchess, who is expecting her second child in the summer, will also narrate the audiobook edition. It is 40 pages long and aimed at three to seven year olds.

It is not yet known where the proceeds from the book, which is likely to be hugely popular, will go, and a source close to the couple would not be drawn on this subject today. The project is one of several that Harry and Meghan have announced since stepping back from their roles as working royals just over a year ago. They have secured a multi-year production deal with Netflix and have since announced that Harry will make a series about the Invictus Games competitors called Heart of Invictus. Their company Archewell Audio also has a multi-year partnership with Spotify which will see them produce a series of podcasts.
