From Town & Country

Despite rumors that Samantha Markle's forthcoming book would be a tell-all about her half-sister Meghan, the author is now saying the memoir will focus on race.

In an interview today with Good Morning Britain, Samantha revealed the book, which is titled The Diary of Princess Pushy's Sister, would tell her family's story as part of "interracial evolution" the United States.

Samantha is Meghan's half-sibling from her father, Thomas’s previous marriage. He is white, and Meghan's mother, Doria Radlan, is black.

"It's only a tell-all in that I recant beautiful nuances of our lives, our family home," Samantha said on-air.

"More importantly, it has to do with the interracial evolution of this country through the lens of my life in my family since the civil rights act until present, and how that intersects with the recent events with my sister."

Samantha continued: "You know my feelings about it, my family's feelings about it and how sad it was going through it all. But it's more of a beautiful, warm, witty story of our lives and my life."

The Florida resident, also had some choice words to say about the tabloid newspapers, which have reported that she is estranged from Megan, and that she called her half-sister a "social climber" and "self-obsessed."

"I just have to say, don't believe what you read in tabloids," she said. "If you didn't see me say it and you didn't hear it from a reliable source, you've got to remember that tabloids say incredibly far-fetched, horrible things about just about everybody."

In contrast to those previous reports, Samantha called Meghan "lovely, charming, and very lively," during the interview.

"I think that together, she and Prince Harry can bring so much to their role in global outreach, as a part of the royal family and in their humanitarian efforts," she said about her half-sister's beau.

"I think the world will be surprised and I think whether it is independently or together, they're both such incredible people with vast bodies of life experience."

When asked about what Meghan thinks about marrying into the historically lily-white royal family of Britain as a biracial woman, Samantha said, "I can't really speak to that. She is definitely confident as a woman and her relationship and the love that they have."

"And that should speak for it and everything else. It almost seems a non-issue."
