Meghan Markle's royal tour is giving everyone a chance to speculate about the upcoming royal baby. From the wee tot's first gifts to what the gender will be, there's no shortage of clues and corresponding theories. People reports that one eagle-eyed royal-watcher noticed a very small detail that could have a huge impact. Looking closely at Meghan's rings reveals that she could be wearing the baby's birthstone.

Her current rotation includes an emerald, a sapphire, and a marquise diamond. The theory has some weight, too, since sapphire is September's birthstone and Harry was born in that month. Meghan's own birthstone is emerald, for August. Most sources list that month's stone as peridot, but some also call peridots the "evening emerald." Actual emeralds are the birthstone for May, which happens to be the month that she and Prince Harry got married. That leaves the diamond, which is the birthstone for April.

"I’m hoping Meghan’s stacked rings represent their birthstones and Baby Sussex is an April baby," she wrote on Twitter.

People adds that the rings are by Canadian brand Ecksand, which is an ethical jewelry line based out of Montreal using ethically sourced and recycled metal and gems. When the royal couple arrived for the tour, she was only wearing two of the rings, the diamond and sapphire.
