Meghan Markle's First Post-Wedding Event Outfit
There's no rest for the royals. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are back at work just three days after their royal wedding, at an engagement in honor of Prince Charles and his work as patron of more than 400 charities and organizations.
The newlyweds delayed their honeymoon in order to be at the event, Prince Charles's 70th Birthday Patronage Celebration in the Gardens of Buckingham Palace, and for the occasion, Meghan is wearing a blush-colored dress by Goat paired with a circular hat by Philip Treacy, small stud earrings, and a sleek bun.

The name of the event is a little confusing, given that Charles's birthday is in November, but it's part of a year-long celebration of not only the Prince of Wales, but also of the organizations he works with. At today's party, 6,000 charity workers will be in attendance, including members of the emergency services who assisted people during the terrorist attack in Manchester last May. Today marks the anniversary of that tragedy.
While today's engagement signifies the Duke and Duchess of Sussex's first appearance post-wedding, it also marks Meghan's first official duty as a working royal. Earlier this week, her webpage was added to the royal family's website, and what it says gives a preview of what to expect from Meghan in the future.
"As well as undertaking royal duties in support of The Queen, both in the UK and overseas, The Duchess devotes her time to supporting a number of charities and organisations."
It also highlights her feminist viewpoint. "I am proud to be a woman and a feminist," it reads.
