From Town & Country

Meghan Markle just made her Trooping the Colour debut, arriving at Buckingham Palace alongside her new husband Prince Harry in a horse-drawn carriage. The newly named Duchess of Sussex chose to wear a blush Carolina Herrera dress with button details and hat by Philip Treacy for the celebration of her new grandmother-in-law's 92nd birthday.

Since Harry and Meghan married at St. George's Chapel in Windsor Castle as opposed to a church in London, today will also mark Meghan's debut on the Buckingham Palace balcony. She and Harry opted for a quick smooch on the church steps and then carriage ride around Windsor as opposed to sharing their first kiss up above the crowds, like Harry's brother William did back in 2011.

Today's parade marks only Meghan's second appearance as an official member of the royal family. She and Harry delayed their honeymoon to attend a garden party in honor of Prince Charles on May 22, just a few days after they tied the knot.

The pair then headed out on a romantic getaway, though the itinerary is still a mystery. Kensington Palace has not, and likely will not, reveal where they went, though rumors range from Ireland to Alberta, Canada, to Namibia.

But now that they're back in the U.K. Meghan is hitting the ground running with her royal duties. Next week she'll make her first solo appearance as a royal alongside the Queen. She and Her Majesty will take a train to Cheshire on travel by royal train to not only open the Mersey Gateway Bridge, but they'll also enjoy lunch at the Chester Town Hall, and will open the Storyhouse Theatre together.
