Meghan Markle Already Has a Gift Prepared for Her Future Daughter

Though Meghan Markle’s pregnancy feels like it came all of a sudden, it seems the Duchess of Sussex has preparing for a while — as in, at least six years.

Back in 2015 (pre-baby, pre-Harry, pre-occasional English accent), Meghan told Hello! Canada that she celebrated Suits’ season three renewal by gifting herself a two-toned Cartier Tank Française watch.

Good job, Megs — but that’s not all …

"I had it engraved on the back, 'To M.M. From M.M,’” she explained, “And I plan to give it to my daughter one day. That's what makes pieces special, the connection you have to them."

OH. EM. GEE.

So … little Lady Diana/Alice/Victoria/Elizabeth of Sussex may soon be the recipient of this very bling-y timepiece? Oh, and we mustn’t exclude Lord Arthur/James/Charles/Phillip, Earl of Dumbarton. Boys can wear women’s watches, too.

Are we more jealous of Baby Sussex because they get to have Harry and Meghan for parents, or because they'll inherit a Cartier Tank watch? It’s a toss-up, to be honest.
