Meghan Markle might wear see-through skirts or a sky-high slit every now and then, but for the most part she and fellow Duchess Kate Middleton tend to dress prettttty conservatively. They are members of the royal family after all! But there's one occasion where Duchess Kate in particular has shortened her hemline and shown a little leg: during her pregnancies.

According to the founder of one of Kate's favorite brands Seraphine, the Duchess opts for shorter dresses because "highlighting legs and arms is always a good trick to keep a nice silhouette"-and she predicts Meghan will do the same.

"[Kate] did [go shorter] for sure. She went shorter, on a couple of occasions well above her knee, which she never does normally," Seraphine's founder Cecile Reinaud tells InStyle. "And especially in winter, because when she wore opaque black tights, it looks okay. It doesn’t look too much because it’s not bare legs, it’s black opaque tights with a shorter dress."

And then there's Meghan: "Because her pregnancy is going to be a winter pregnancy, I think she’s more likely to shorten her hemline," Reinaud says. "And also [she'll] probably wear what we’ve seen at [Eugenie's] royal wedding, this kind of coat dress."

Cool, cool, cool, this has been an update. #TheMoreYouKnow.
