Meghan, Harry, Kate, and Will reunited to share this important message about mental health

When our two favorite royal couples team up for an important cause, we listen. And right now we’re all ears as Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, Prince William, and Kate Middleton team up to lend their voices to a new mental health project that’s shedding light on the importance of self-care.

The royals (along with a number of prominent UK television personalities) lent their voices to narrate a three-minute-long PSA for a new initiative spearheaded by the UK’s National Health Services (NHS).

The project, called Every Mind Matters, allows people to take a short online survey pertaining to their mental and emotional health status, and then receive customized support based on their answers. Backed by a group of mental health charities including the Royal Foundation’s Heads Together initiative, the project aims to help people take simple, actionable steps to reduce stress and improve their mood, sleep, and overall health.

Meghan Markle then explains, “There’s a new way to help turn things around.” And finally, Kate Middleton introduces the initiative: “[Every Mind Matters] will get you started with a free, online plan designed to help you deal with stress, boost your mood, improve your sleep, and feel more in control.”

This certainly isn’t the the first time the young royals have spoken out about the importance of mental health awareness.

Prince William has been open about his mission to normalize discussions about mental wellbeing, while Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s official instagram page, @sussexroyal, payed tribute the UK’s Mental Health Awareness Month in May by highlighting accounts that promoted mental wellbeing, body positivity, self-care, and the importance of human connection.

The full version of the short film, produced by Notting Hill and Love Actually director Richard Curtis and directed by British photographer Rankin, is set to air across all major UK television networks tonight, Monday, October 7th.
