It's an understatement to say that things are, uh, tense between Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, Kate Middleton, and Prince William at the moment, and apparently the royal couples aren't giving each other Christmas gifts as a result. But! They have sent gifts to each other's kids, so at least there's that!

The Sunday Times reports that while William and Kate "will not deprive" Archie and Lilibet of presents, and that Harry and Meghan have "dispatched gifts" for George, Charlotte and Louis—however "there will be no presents exchanged between the adults."

Awkward. Almost as awkward as the vibes in this photo.

FYI, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are expected to skip the traditional royal Christmas in Sandringham this year, and instead spend the holiday in the States. King Charles did extend an invite for Meghan and Harry to join the family, but royal biographer Angela Levin tells The Sun that it's not gonna happen, saying “The Queen’s death means that there won’t be as much pressure to have all of the family together—which is good because it seems Harry and Meghan won’t be present."

The Sussexes might not be traveling to England for Christmas, but rumor has it that Prince Harry has plans to return home after the holidays and explain his "intent" writing his upcoming memoir Spare. According to the Daily Mail, he could fly to England to promote the book in 2023, and a source very dramatically told the outlet, “Put it this way, it’s not going to make for a relaxing family Christmas.”
