Meghan, Harry, and Archie Return Home on a Commercial Flight
After concluding their royal tour of southern Africa, Prince Harry, Duchess Meghan, and their son Archie flew home to the U.K. on a commercial flight.
The family of three landed in London early this morning via British Airways.
Their return follows yesterday's final engagements, which included meeting humanitarian and Nelson Mandela's widow, Graça Machel.
After a successful 10-day tour of southern Africa, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex and their son, Archie, have returned to the U.K.
The trio and the Sussex royal team traveled via a commercial British Airways flight and touched down early this morning at London’s Heathrow Airport, BAZAAR.com understands. They reportedly took the same airline while traveling to Cape Town, South Africa to begin the tour almost two weeks ago.
Prince Harry, Duchess Meghan, and Archie's return home comes shortly after the duke and duchess delivered their final engagements in Johannesburg, South Africa yesterday. They started off visiting Youth Employment Service, which aims to create work opportunities for young people. Then, they met with politician and humanitarian Graça Machel, who is also Nelson Mandela's widow. The couple's last event of the tour was a meeting with South Africa's president, Cyril Ramaphosa.
Delivering her final speech of the trip at the Johannesburg's High Commission yesterday, Meghan looked back at the Sussexes' first tour as a family. "Over the past 10 days our family has had emotional moments, we’ve had poignant moments, we’ve had spiritual moments; we’ve met inspirational leaders in every walk of life, and we’ve been treated to incredible food, music, and dancing," she said. "But above all, we have been able to meet the people that are the rocks behind the sort of work that really means a so much to us."
