Megan Thee Stallion is officially off the market. In February 2021, the superstar confirmed to fans during an Instagram Live that she's dating fellow rapper Pardison "Pardi" Fontaine.

Here's what you need to know about Megan Thee Stallion's new beau.

Pardison Fontaine has collaborated with several high-profile musicians.

Fontaine, born Jordan Kyle Lanier Thorpe, is perhaps best known for collaborating with Cardi B on "Backin' It Up."

According to People, Pardi also cowrote Cardi B's "Bodak Yellow," Kanye West’s "Violent Crimes," and Ed Sheeran’s "South of the Border." In 2019, Fontaine released a mixtape, UNDER8ED, with Atlantic Records.

His stage name has an unusual origin.

It's not easy coming up with the perfect stage name. As Fontaine told People, he was initially inspired by Back to the Future character Marty McFly, and named himself Pardi McFly as a result. "Then, I thought to myself, 'JAY-Z is not going to do a song with somebody named Pardi McFly,'" he revealed. "So, I just dropped the McFly and I kept the Pardi."

As for the "Fontaine" in his name, the rapper used to work at Saks Fifth Avenue. "I used to walk past this Anne Fontaine store all the time, and I didn’t know exactly what it meant or what it sold, but I just knew Fontaine sounded hella important," Pardi told the publication. According to People, the rapper discovered "Jean de la Fontaine, a famed French poet and fabulist from the 17th century," and the name stuck.

They had an incredibly romantic Valentine's Day 2021.

Yes, Megan Thee Stallion and Fontaine are most definitely Instagram official. In fact, Pardi took to his account to reveal that he planned a special Valentine's Day for his girlfriend, which involved a private jet, lots of red roses, and a special menu with the title, "Pardi with a Hottie."

Also in February 2021, Megan Thee Stallion confirmed that she was dating Fontaine during an Instagram Live with her fans.

Fontaine has a daughter named Jordy Jr.

As reported by The Sun, Fontaine has a daughter called Jordy Jr. He regularly shares photos of her on his Instagram account.

He makes Megan "very happy."

The Grammy-winning rapper opened up about their relationship during the season two premiere of Facebook Watch's Peace of Mind with Taraji.

"My boyfriend does make me very happy. He definitely takes care of me emotionally," she said. "He makes my brain feel good. He makes my heart feel good."

She added that their emotional connection transcends any previous romance she's had. "That's a big thing for me, because I used to be so into the physical, right, like … but he moves me, he inspires me, and we just feel like a real team," she added. "He feels like a partner."
