Megan Fox has written a poetry book about the 'poisonous' toxic men in her life

If I were to trust anyone to write a poetry book about the failings of bad men, it would be Megan Fox. The actor, known for her roles in Jennifer's Body and Transformers, has announced her literary debut, Pretty Boys Are Poisonous, slated to be released on November 7th. The poetry book features 80 original poems penned by Fox.
“These poems were written in an attempt to excise the illness that had taken root in me because of my silence," she wrote on Instagram announcing the news.
"I’ve spent my entire life keeping the secrets of men, my body aches from carrying the weight of their sins. My freedom lives in these pages, and I hope that my words can inspire others to take back their happiness and their identity by using their voice to illuminate what’s been buried, but not forgotten, in the darkness.”
At the time of writing, her announcement post has been liked over 328k times. "I've never wanted to buy a book written by a celebrity until today," one user commented. "This book is going to ignite 5th wave feminism and I’ve never been so excited for anything," says another. Her fiancé, musician Machine Gun Kelly (Colson Baker) simply wrote, "proud of you 🔥."
Despite it still being unreleased, Pretty Boys Are Poisonous is already a #1 bestseller on Amazon and will eventually be available in hardback or on Kindle.
Fox, whose tempestuous, spooky relationship with Machine Gun Kelly dominated headlines last year (they drink drops of each other's blood for "ritual purposes" 👀), is no stranger to famous relationships, something she might cover in the book.
Her confirmed relationships include 7th Heaven actor David Gallagher, who she dated between 2003 and 2004. Then, she dated and eventually married on-again-off-again partner Brian Austin Greene, with whom she shares three children Noah, Bodhi and Journey. The pair split in 2019. They were married for over 10 years and together for 15.
In 2018, Fox confirmed a brief romance with Transformers co-star Shia LaBeouf. Other rumoured relationships include firefighter Ben Leahy and DJ Calvin Harris.
Four years later, Fox and Baker announced their engagement in 2022. "He asked me to marry him. And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes," she wrote in a since-deleted post on Instagram.
