Megan Fox Slams Claim That Her Kids Are “Forced” to Wear “Girls’ Clothes”

Megan Fox is defending her parenting style against a conservative politician.

Earlier this week, former U.S. Congress candidate Robby Starbuck accused the Jennifer's Body actress of forcing her three sons—whom she shares with her ex-husband Brian Austin Green—to wear girls' clothing against their wishes. In the initial tweet, which included a screenshot of the actress out with her boys, Noah 10, Bodhi, 9, and Journey, 6, Starbuck alleged that he used to live in the same community as the family and "saw 2 of [her sons] have a full on breakdown saying they were forced by their mom to wear girls clothes as their nanny tried to console them." He added, "It's pure child abuse. Pray for them."

Yesterday, Fox posted a screenshot of the candidate's viral comment, shutting down his claims in a scathing Instagram caption.

"I really don't want to give you this attention because clearly you're a clout chaser. But let me teach you something," Fox wrote. "Irregardless [sic] of how desperate you may become at any given time to acquire wealth, power, success, or fame - never use children as leverage or social currency. Especially under malevolent and erroneous pretense. Exploiting my child's gender identity to gain attention in your political campaign has put you on the wrong side of the universe."

She continued, "I have been burned at the stake by insecure, narcissistic, impotent, little men like you many times, and yet i’m still here. You f**ked with the wrong witch."

While Fox is mostly private about her children, she has previously spoken about her oldest kid Noah's choice to wear girls' clothing, sharing last year that the child started wearing dresses when he was 2 years old.

"I bought a bunch of books that sort of addressed these things and addressed a full spectrum of what this is," she said at the time. "Some of the books are written by transgender children. Some of the books are just about how you can be a boy and wear a dress; you can express yourself through your clothing however you want."

She also said that she made sure "nobody feels like they are weird or strange or different," adding that she "can’t control the way other people react to my children."

Green also came to his ex-wife's defense, telling TMZ that Starbuck's claim is "a totally bogus story."

"There are only a few people in their world that can actually verify whether or not a story like this is true and I can tell you with absolute certainty it is not," the Beverly Hills, 90210 actor said. "This person trying to claim this is true is a perfect example of someone with selfish motives that does not care about negatively affecting a parent child relationship."
