Megan Fox Just Took the Sexy Cardigan to New Extremes

Sexy cardigans made their debut nearly two years ago when Katie Holmes matched hers with a cropped cashmere bra. Shortly after, supermodels like Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner took it to the next level and wore nothing underneath while buttoning only one button. And now, they're passing the baton onto Megan Fox who just took the trend to new extremes.

In photos obtained by The Daily Mail, the actress stepped out in the sweater version of summer's underboob-baring paperclip top. Wearing a red ribbed cardigan strung together by a tiny clasp across her chest, she went braless and added another bold flash of flesh with a matching skirt that featured cutouts at the midriff.

Fox accessorized with gold strappy stilettos and a tiny purse in a shade similar to her outfit.

Last month, Fox spoke with Who What Wear about how she was told to dress "less sexy" early on in her career. "People were trying to hide me and make me less sexy so that I could be taken more seriously," she recalled. "And I was like, 'I don't give a f—k about that. I just want the look to be right.'"

As an example, Megan looked back at the outfit she wore to the Juno premiere in 2007. "I was going to meet Diablo [Cody] because we were in the process of talking about Jennifer's Body and to see if I was right for it and like how we vibed with each other. And it was a big deal," she said. "So everyone wanted me to look a certain way. Everyone wanted me to look like a movie star, so that I could land this role, and I had a real problem with authority when I was young. I resent people trying to tell me how to look, or act, or speak."
