Megan Fox is unrecognisable with 'gingerbread red' hair transformation

In a parallel universe maybe Megan Fox would have played Lola (Mary) in Confessions of a Teenage Drama Queen instead of Carla, because this new shade of red hair is very much giving the natural auburn of a young Lindsey Lohan and we're loving it. We've seen the star rocking black, blonde, red and even pink lengths in recent times, but her visits to red are most definitely our favourite.
She debuted the colour in New York City at the party launching Sports Illustrated's annual Swimwear issue. And unless you've been living under a rock, you'll have seen her incredible cover. But those long black waves couldn't be more different from her hair now.
Delivered by her go-to Dimitri Giannetos, it looks like it's real, given the mega stylist has credited the image: "Hair color/cut/styling 🙋🏼♂️ Using @swayhairextensions @lorealparis".
With the addition of a lot of length, this new hue is a refresh and tone switch on the short copper Megan revealed at the Vanity Fair Oscar party. In a grwm vid, She credited the inspiration for the hair initial red hair to her obsession with Greek mythology: "Basically like coming back from the underworld, what would you look like if all the fire and brimstone from hell was in your hair? If you were the queen of the underworld, what would you look like walking the red carpet?".
At the time, colourist Jacob Schwarz, detailed on Insta his formula that got her from jet black to this glorious brimstone copper, and understandably after that mission, Megan is still staying red nearly three months on, despite fooling us all with a return to black for the SI cover (naturally shot in advance). But now with a little less underworld inspo and more of a soft, natural, yet strong hue for summer.
