Megan Fox Breaks Silence on MGK Cheating Rumors

The actress is opening up about infidelity.

Megan Fox is setting the record straight.

Last week, the actress, 36, posted a very cryptic message and photos on her Instagram that led fans to believe that her seemingly now ex-fiancé, Machine Gun Kelly, cheated on her. 

"You can taste the dishonesty/ it’s all over your breath," she captioned the post alongside two photos of her and a video of a letter and other memorabilia burning in a fire pit.

Several hours later, her Instagram account was swept from the internet, as it appeared that she was taking a little break from social media, but now she is back to address the rumors that have been flying around with one simple post.

The only post on the Jennifer's Body star's Instagram is a screenshot of a statement typed up in what appeared to be her notes app written on Feb. 19, 2023, at 9:56 AM. 

"There has been no third party interference in this relationship of any kind," she wrote. "That includes, but is not limited to...actual humans, DMs, AI bots, or succubus demons."

She continued: "While I do hate to rob you of running random baseless news stories that would have been much more accurately written by chatGPT, you need to let this story die and leave all of these innocent people alone now."

Many fans were quick to point the finger at MGK's guitarist Sophie Lloyd, who joined the band during 2022's Mainstream Sellout tour, as the potential cause of the couple's alleged breakup. Her management team has since addressed the allegations in a statement to Page Six.

“Sophie Lloyd is a professional, accomplished musician who has been needlessly dragged into the media based off of meritless accusations made by social media,” her team told the outlet.

“Any suggestion that she has ever acted in an unprofessional manner or stepped out of her relationship are untrue. It’s disrespectful to her as a female artist and poor journalism and social commentary to be reporting anything else.”

While Fox cleared all infidelity rumors, it is still uncertain if the couple is together, though they have been spotted leaving a building that houses couples counselors in the days since.
