Megan Fox made a public statement against her ex-husband Brian Austin Green sharing photos of their sons on social media, accusing him of using the photos to feed "the pervasive narrative that I'm an absent mother, and you are the perennial, eternally dedicated dad of the year, You have them half of the time."

In the original Instagram photo that Green has since taken down, Fox and Green's four-year-old son Journey appears alongside him in their Halloween costumes.

Fox commented on the post, writing, "Why does Journey have to be in this picture? It's not hard to crop them out. Or choose photos that they aren't in. I had a great halloween with them yesterday, and yet notice how absent they are from my social media. I know you love your kids. But I don't know why you can't stop using them to posture via Instagram. You're so intoxicated with feeding the pervasive narrative that I'm an absent mother, and you are the perennial, eternally dedicated dad of the year," she continued. "You have them half of the time. Congratulations you truly are a remarkable human! Why do you need the internet to echo back to you what should be inexhaustibly evident in the way your children love you?"

Green didn't respond in writing to the comment. Instead, he took the photo down and replaced it with one where only he appears.

Green announced he and Fox had separated after 10 years together in May. The two share three sons. Fox, of course, has since gone on to date Machine Gun Kelly, who she calls her "twin flame."

"Instead of a soul mate, a twin flame is actually where a soul has ascended into a high enough level that it can be split into two different bodies at the same time," Fox said during a July interview. "So we're actually two halves of the same soul, I think. And I said that to him almost immediately, because I felt it right away."

In August, Green hadn't fully let the idea of reconciling with Fox go, despite her very publicly moving on with Kelly. Green said during an Instagram Live, when asked about the prospect of them getting back together, "I never say never. You never know. I kinda feel like people are on paths in life and sometimes your paths are together and you travel that path together and you see eye to eye and then sometimes paths do different things. And, you know, we had an amazing 15-year relationship."

"Right now the paths are...they're different and she is on her path doing what she feels she needs to be doing to be happy," he continued, via CNN. "I'm on my path doing what I feel I need to do to be happy and it's not for a lack of love for the kids or lack of being responsible."
