If there's anyone who can turn fashion week into a rom-com, it's without a doubt Meg Ryan, the original queen of the beloved film genre. And when Ryan was spotted arriving at the Loewe womenswear Fall/Winter 2024-2025 during Paris Fashion Week, she looked as if she stepped off a movie set, between the seemingly slow-motion waves, perfectly timed rain, and fabulous outfit.

On Friday, the actress was photographed wearing a fabulous green, black, and white plaid tailored blazer layered over a matching olive-colored turtleneck. On the bottom, Ryan took an elevated approach to suit dressing in black wide-leg velvet trousers that slightly dragged along the cobblestone street. She paired the sleek look with black boots, a matching clutch bag, and sunglasses. Her accessories included gold earrings and a smattering of rings.

Her perfectly-waved bob was equally as glam as the rest of the look and bounced with every step (another rom-com staple). Ryan smiled and waved to the flashing cameras as she made the walk into the show.

Ryan was absent from industry events and fashion week front rows for quite some time. In fact, before her 2023 film What Happens Later with David Duchovny, she hadn't starred in a rom-com since 2009's Serious Moonlight.

“I took a giant break because I felt like there’s just so many other parts of my experience as a human being I wanted to develop,” she said in an interview Vanity Fair.

“It came to me during lockdown," she continued, explaining her writing process. “The essence of it is these two people who are stuck together. I just love that idea that we’re held in a space, even if it feels conflicted, maybe for reasons that heal them.”
