Meet the Style MVPs of Super Bowl LI
Fans of the HBO series Ballers know all too well that a recurring motif on the show is the pride that Spencer Strasmore, played by former pro-wrestler-turned-actor Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, takes in dressing well. There are few scenes that don’t feature the fictional retired football player, who now works as a financial manager, peacocking around Miami in an impeccable, $2,300 Armani Collection suit, or something comparable.
Outside of HBO, some real life athletes get just as excited about touchdowns and interceptions as they do about cuff links and tie bars. There’s flamboyant Cam Newton; fashion darling Victor Cruz; and “style god” Odell Beckham Jr.
But, much to our dismay here at Yahoo Style, none of those guys made it to the big game on Feb. 5. Instead, here are the best dressed players from the New England Patriots and Atlanta Falcons who will make an appearance on the field at Super Bowl LI. There are some notable names on the list, and some who’ll even give Newton a run for his money.
