Meet North Jersey adoptable pets of the week for April 12: Kangaroo Jack and Titi

Meet NorthJersey.com's adoptable pets of the week for April 12!

Each week, NorthJersey.com would like to highlight adoptable animals from local shelters and rescues.

If you foster, work at, or volunteer with a North Jersey animal shelter or rescue and know of some animals who are in need of a loving fur-ever home please send a photo, description, and adoption information to amwallace@gannett.com to have your adoptable pets featured in the next edition.

This week we are featuring a cat and a dog from St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center in Madison.

Titi

Titi is an adoptable 13-year-old female. She is currently in a foster home but is available for adoption through the St. Hubert's Animal Welfare Center in Madison.

Titi is a playful, loveable lap cat who puts the "gold" in golden. She's 13 years young. Don't be fooled by Titi's age - this spry senior has a lot of pep in her! Titi enjoys chasing string around the house, napping on a cozy blanket, and ear scratches. She's a sass queen, too! Titi will be happy to chirp at you to let you know when she's in the mood to play, when she's hungry, or even if she just wants to chill in your lap. She's the absolute best partner to watch TV with, too, as Titi is most content when curled up next to her favorite humans.

If you're looking for an affectionate kitty who enjoys the finer things in life, Titi is the pet for you! Titi is currently enjoying life in a wonderful foster home, but she is looking for a permanent home and family to call her own. Please visit sthuberts.org/adoptable-cats for more info on how to adopt her.

Kangaroo Jack

Kangaroo Jack is a loveable goofball with a big ol' head, smooshy face, and flippy floppy ears. Ever the social butterfly, Jack loves meeting new people. If dogs went to high school, he'd be the guy who's friends with everyone ... the class clown with a heart of gold.

Kangaroo Jack fancies himself a lapdog, and will happily cuddle up on the couch with you. Your heart will melt as he gazes at you with his puppy dog eyes.

Jack is always up for an adventure. He enjoys long trail walks and cruising around town on car rides. He loves ALL food...especially meatballs and chicken. He's six years old, playful, and very intelligent. He knows basic commands like "sit" and "paw" and is working on learning new tricks.

Kangaroo Jack has become a staff favorite at St. Hubert's. He even has his own Instagram account, where his fans can follow his adventures! Check him out @mr.kangaroo.jack.

Kangaroo Jack dreams about having a family of his own (and meatballs). To learn more about adopting or fostering this cuddly fellow, visit sthuberts.org/adoptable-dogs, or come to meet him at St. Hubert's shelter in Madison.

As an added bonus, guaranteed rate, a mortgage lender in Madison is covering Kangaroo Jack's adoption fee!
