Hunk gets second chance at love after Rachel Recchia broke his heart!

Zach Shallcross is the next star of The Bachelor for season 27.

At the end of the Bachelor in Paradise finale, we got a big tease of the former The Bachelorette suitor looking for love with multiple ladies, hot tubs and tears.

The handsome tech executive will again be looking for love on ABC.

Who is the new Bachelor?

“Meet our new Bachelor, Zach!” Jesse yelled in September as he joined the audience at the end of The Bachelorette.

His casting was not a surprise after he became a fan favorite on The Bachelorette.

Zach fell hard for Rachel Recchia but eliminated himself from the 19th season that also featured Gabby Windey.

As viewers know, Zach was devastated when he felt Rachel was being phony during their fantasy suite time.

He told her on The Bachelorette that she hadn’t seemed like the real Rachel behind closed doors.

“I did really love you. I saw a future with you,” he moaned, then concluded, “I need to go.”

Zach was in tears as he was driven off the show in Mexico.

But after being named the new Bachelor, Zach was all smiles.

He told Jesse in front of The Bachelorette live studio audience, “There’s no words. I’m just taking this in right now. I’m really nervous but this is once in a lifetime. I’ll be ready.”

When will The Bachelor season 27 premiere?

Jesse announced that the show will debut early next year on Monday, Jan. 23, 2023 on ABC.

What is Bachelor Zach’s age?

Zach is 26. He said Rachel thought he was too young for her on The Bachelorette, when he was still 25. But there are sure to be loads of women who think he’s perfect on his next show.

Who is hosting The Bachelor?

Jesse Palmer

Host Jesse Palmer will be back in the saddle with Zach in January. Jesse showed he’ll be his best buddy as he looks for a wife. He asked him how he dealt with his Rachel breakup and Zach confided, “I really needed to take some time to reflect. It didn’t change how ready I was. I’m ready to find my person.” Jesse, a former Bachelor himself, also used to be a football player like Zach!

Who received the first impression rose?

One of the women would get a first impression rose—but Jesse announced a new twist. America, not Zach, would be deciding who would receive it.

Fans cast their votes via tweets and decided Brianna, the Polaroid snapper, was the winner.

Zach gave Brianna the rose and hugged her with delight. It meant she would be “safe” on The Bachelor’s premiere.

How many women will be on The Bachelor season 27?

Season 27 features 30 women vying for the heart of Zach Shallcross.

Who has a celebrity connection in the new cast?

Sexy Christina Mandrell from Nashville, one of the women who will vie for Zach, is the niece of famed country music star Barbara Mandrell. According to internet reports, her mother is actress/musician Irlene Mandrell, Barbara’s younger sister. Christina herself is a model, actress and “content creator” and is divorced.

Who will be a great example for Zach?

Former Bachelor Sean Lowe was in the Bachelorette audience and gave Zach words of encouragement. Sean himself found his wife, Catherine, through the show and they are still happy together and raising three children.

What is Zach’s Bachelor goal?

Zach told Jesse that he wanted to “fall in love with his best friend.” He said he hopes his contestants “come into this ready for love.”

When asked if Rachel’s belief that he wasn’t ready for engagement was accurate, Zach told Parade, “Not at all.” He repeated, “Not at all.”

He added firmly, “You can’t tell anyone that they’re too old or too young to fall in love.”
