The pride and joy of Netflix is back. Love Is Blind is now in its fifth season, traveling around the country to try and find out if looks are everything in a relationship, while casting conventionally attractive people who promise to bring enough drama to make a bingeworthy season of television. Along with The Ultimatum, Netflix has made itself a powerhouse of reality dating television, outside of its scripted department.
While the show recruits a healthy bunch of men and women to fill the pods, there's only a few couples the show ends up focusing on. The first episode doesn't give that bias away, however, so it's worth getting to know the entire cast to see who could make up a potential starring couple.
And beyond the television drama, people really are invested in each couple's relationships. In Season 4, viewers stayed tuned in to how Jackie and Josh fared, along with Micah and Paul. Even after the show, fans take to social media to get the most up to date information on each person, paying attention to who they follow, who's in their photos, and what they're saying on Instagram.

Aaliyah, 29
As an ICU travel nurse, Aaliyah may be on the road a lot, but she's looking for someone who's ready to settle down and commit. Her dream guy is an "intellectual foodie".
Estefania, 30
High school teacher Estefania wants someone she can dance with, and is tired of "controlling or dirty" men. Hopefully the pods have someone that matches her needs.
Shondra, 32
Shondra is a flight attendant who wants a guy who takes accountability and isn't overly critical.
Maris, 30
After her one and only long-term relationship ended, Maris spent two years searching for a guy who checked all the boxes, but so far has come up empty. She's joining Love Is Blind hoping to find a family-oriented guy who doesn't mind that her hair gets everywhere.
Paige, 32
Paige is all about kindness. The stylist doesn't want anyone who's mean to waiters or staff, and needs a guy who's respectful.
Renee, 32
Veterinarian Renee is looking for a manly guy to start a family with. She's been focused on her career since ending her last relationship, and is ready to find someone who can get with her homebody lifestyle.
Lydia, 32
Lydia, a geologist, is ready to have a rock on her finger. She wants a guy who's ready to commit and stick with her through thick and thin and feels she's finally "emotionally ready" to be married.
Erica, 27
After three years of trying dating apps, Erica is ready to find someone ready to commit. She wants a marriage as strong as her parents, and is looking for a guy who's "funny, outgoing and obsessed [with her]."
Miriam, 32
When Miriam is interested in someone, she seeks "an emotional connection before developing much stronger feelings." She hopes the pods have a good mix of older and taller guys.
Stacy, 34
Stacy's been single for less than a year, but is ready for the real thing. She wants a guy who can keep up with her in the gym, and doesn't mind her super-competitive family.
Johnie, 32
Johnie is ready to go into the pods to stay open to every kind of guy, instead of the "slightly younger, pretty boys" she usually goes for.
Linda, 32
Coming from a tight-knit Nigerian family, Linda is looking for a guy who understands the importance of family ties. She knows she's been overly picky about who she dates in the past, and hopes the pods will help her connect with someone on a deeper level.
Mayra, 25
Mayra, a minister, wants a Ryan Reynolds lookalike who loves God. After the heartbreak of her last relationship, Mayra knows she has to stop "allowing things to be okay when they aren't."
Taylor, 26
After four years, Taylor is tired of being single. Her past exes haven't always been honest or faithful, so she wants a man ready for marriage, and who loves Christmas as much as her.
The Men
Robert, 30
Robert is big on family game nights and hopes to find a woman who shares his interest. He says commitment issues and timing have been his biggest obstacles to finding the one, so he hopes the pods will help him avoid those pitfalls.
Izzy, 31
Izzy has gone on two to three dates a week for the past year and a half, but is still struggling to find the one. He's hoping the pods can help him find an athletic person who is an "open-minded, good communicator."
Chris, 28
Chris's longest relationship lasted for three years, but he's ready to find someone he can spend forever with. Bottled up emotions have been the downfall of his past relationships, and he's hoping in the pods he can open up and find someone honest.
Efrain, 27
Efrain is tired of dating apps, and says he isn't great at picking up women at bars. So he's hoping the pods will help him find an athletic woman who will join him on walks with his dog and won't mind spending Sunday dinners with his family.
Ernesto, 32
Ernesto knows he's dated women for their looks before, and wants to take it out of the equation as he heads into the pods. He wants an intellectual woman who isn't "too clingy".
Connor, 31
Geoscientist Connor wants a bilingual woman he can share the rest of his life with. He's also a huge fan of Christmas, and would love someone who can carol with his family.
Enoch, 27
Enoch has enjoyed living the single life for five years, but is ready to commit to a woman. In his previous job, he found it difficult to hold down a relationship due to travel, but now that he's ready to settle down, he wants a woman who loves to cook as much as he does.
Jarred, 34
Jarred is all about "dad jokes" and wants a woman who loves his quirky personality. In the past, he's felt he's gone above and beyond in relationships, and his partners haven't put in the same effort. He wants a woman who is ready for full commitment and doesn't mind his "lack of detail in cleaning."
Jared, 32
Jared is looking for someone in the pods because he feels dating in Houston is too superficial and he struggles to find someone looking for a long-term relationship. While he admits he's held back in the past, he hopes to find a patient partner that can help him break out of his shell.
Josh, 32
All Josh has ever wanted in his life is a wife and family. Building trust is the most important part of a relationship for him.
Carter, 30
Carter thinks of himself as a hopeless romantic, and is finally ready for marriage. His biggest pet peeve is "bad cell phone etiquette" and he wants a woman who likes his "old-fashioned and open-minded" attitude.
Justice, 28
For the past few years, Justice has put dating aside to focus on his career, but now he's ready for the pods to help him find a wife. He wants a wife who has ambition, and isn't bothered by his busy schedule.
Milton, 25
Milton is the youngest guy in the pods, but he says he's mature enough for marriage. He's drawn to older women, and wants someone who has ambition. He admits, however, he has a tendency to self sabotage.
Uche, 34
Uche's been single for two years, and his ready to find the one. He wants an ambitious woman with a sense of humor.
