Good news folks! Below Deck is coming back to Bravo for an eighth season on November 2nd, and this time around, the franchise is returning to its roots in the Caribbean. Judging by the trailer, Captain Lee is definitely in for a charter season full of new antics and difficult charter guests.

While it’s nice to see the stud of the sea back in his formidable position, there’s a long-time favorite who won’t be joining him this season: former chief stew Kate Chastain. She sadly left the show (and yachting) after the seventh season finale aired, meaning her position on the show needs to be filled, and fast. That’s where Francesca Rubi comes in, taking her rightful place as the newest chief stew of the popular franchise. Sure, she's not like our favorite "rocket ship"-towel making crew member, but she's about to make a splash all her own.

Here's a little info on Below Deck's new chief stew Francesca Rubi:

Francesca has a lot of experience in yachting.

Hailing from Sydney, Australia, Francesca grew up wanting to live a nomadic lifestyle and travel the world. According to her official bio on BravoTV.com, she worked for celebrities in the event managing industry before making the switch to yachting.

But if fans thought she only worked in the interior, they're sadly mistaken. She knows how to work every part of the boat, as she worked as a purser, deckhand, and stewardess, all before earning her rank as chief stew.

She's a no-nonsense chief stew.

According to an official statement from Bravo, Francesca is described as a "perfectionist who runs a tight ship by raising the bar when it comes to service." Given how her skills include a white-gloves, no-water-marks-on-glass-kind of service, it will be interesting to see how her standards will be upheld among her fellow interior crew members, Elizabeth Frankini and Isabelle "Izzy" Wouters.

One big question remains: Is Francesca going to be the next Kate or is she going to be the next Hannah? And most importantly—how will she interact with Captain Lee? While fans still have a bit of time before seeing her in action, it's fun to speculate and wonder what it will be like to have new blood below deck.
