Meet the Cast of "V Wars" and Their Characters
Get ready, The Vampire Diaries fans! Ian Somerhalder is officially back in a brand new vampire series called V Wars and things are completely different than how they were in Mystic Falls. While he might not be playing Damon Salvatore, Ian's brand new character certainly has a lot on his plate as the world suddenly becomes infected with a virus that turns anyone who has been affected into a vampire.
So get ready to see some major vampire action as these cast members come together and bring the graphic novel series of the same name to life. Plus, there might be some other familiar faces on this list that you'd be excited to see on your small screen again. Here is the cast and characters from Netflix's V Wars...
Ian Somerhalder as Dr. Luther Swann

Dr. Luther Swann is a leading medical professional and is called to look into the mysterious virus that is turning people into vampires. He finds himself at odds with his new job and his best friend, who has been turned into the very thing that he's trying to get rid of.
Ian Somerhalder is best known for his roles as Damon Salvatore in The Vampire Diaries and Boone Carlyle in Lost. Alongside starring in the series, Ian is also directing several episodes and is an executive producer.
Adrian Holmes as Michael Fayne

Michael Fayne is Dr. Luther Swann's best friend who suddenly turns into a vampire after being affected by the virus. He soon becomes a leader for the vampires, which affects his relationship with Luther.
Arrow fans will certainly recognize Adrian for his role as Frank Pike in the series since 2013. He also starred in the Canadian series, 19-2, when it aired from 2014 - 2017.
Peter Outerbridge as Calix Niklos
Calix is a scientist with the Homeland Security Team who contacts Dr. Swann in hopes of finding a cure for the mysterious virus that is turning people into vampires. While his intentions seem good, it also seems like he is willing to risk anything and anyone for his own sake.
Peter Outerbridge has been in a number of TV shows including The Umbrella Academy, Orphan Black, and 12 Monkeys. He's also starred in films like Saw VI, Silent Hill: Revelation, and Level 16.
Laura Vandervoort as Mila Dubov

As Danika's sister, her world ends up turning upside down as she tries to survive against the new vampires that roam the world.
Laura is most known for her roles as Supergirl/Kara Zor-El in Smallville, Elena Michaels in Bitten, and Lisa on V. She recently returned to the DC Universe when she appeared in Supergirl as Indigo.
Kyle Breitkopf as Dez

Dez is Luther's son who seems to get caught up in this strange new world filled with vampires.
Kyle has had a number of roles on TV including ones in Being Human, Parental Guidance, and The Silence. He has also done voice over work in PJ Masks and Rusty Rivets.
Jacky Lai as Kaylee Vo

Kaylee is an investigative reporter who will do anything to get to the bottom of things.
Jacky previously played Aline in Shadowhunters and Riley in Beyond. She's also had small roles in Once Upon a Time and The Flash.
Kimberly-Sue Murray as Danika

Danika is Mila's sister who turns into a vampire after being affected by the virus and ends up starting trouble for Dr. Luther Swann and those around him.
Kimberly-Sue is best known for playing Seelie Queen Amara in Shadowhunters. She also appeared in Killjoys, Kim's Convenience, AND The Lizzie Borden Chronicles.
